When I first decided I wanted to get into the gym I wish had an app like NTC to give me workout routines, daily fitness motivation, and coaching. They have amazing fitness routines for HIIT, yoga, and everything in between. I also love that NTC also has a fitness podcast if you have a few minutes and listen to some professionals talk about everything from burnout to mindfulness to hitting your goals.
Even now, after years of being on my fitness journey, I still turn to this app on days when I'm not quite sure what to do, or if I just need fresh and new workouts to try.
 
MyFitness Pal
 
MyFitness Pal has been and continues to be a lifesaver for those of us that have a hard time remembering to keep track of our macros. I have a tendency of not eating ENOUGH, and that works against what my fitness goals are, so with this app I get to not only keep a daily food blog, but it also allows me to decide on how many macros I want to hit for the day. I'm also super forgetful, but they send out notifications for each meal to remind me to log what I've eaten (or to actually eat some damn food). So if you're like me and like to know (in a healthy way) what your macros are for the day and get better eating habits, then MyFitness Pal is the app for you.
 
 
Peloton
I can honestly talk and rave about this app all day every day to anyone who will listen! I personally have access to quite a few Pelotons in my gym, and also at work, but even if I didn't, I would still be able to use the app while I use any bike or treadmill. That's the amazing thing about the Peloton app, they have made it accessible for everyone! Now, you will need an account and subscription for this app, but it's less than your daily Starbucks order, sitting pretty at $12.99. Peloton has some absolutely amazing instructors (hello #teamcody and #teametunde) and they truly know how to fully immerse you in the class of your choice, they have classes starting at 5 minutes all the way to 90 minutes! They also have classes for everyone, the runners, the cardio buffs, the strength lovers, outdoor workouts, and of course those of us obsessed with a good cycle class, so don't hesitate, go join today!
